[16:21:31] <hazzy-m> man, brenda sure is drawing this out, LOL
[16:24:10] <jthornton> I had to view the user list before making a comment
[16:24:34] <jthornton> she was a pain in the documents section LOL
[16:32:34] <TurBoss> hello
[16:37:33] <jthornton> hey
[16:41:52] <hazzy-m> hola
[16:51:59] <jthornton> geez it's 4pm I should do something constructive
[16:52:35] <hazzy-m> LOL, that is how I feel every day
[16:54:20] <jthornton> making good progress on https://github.com
[16:54:57] <jthornton> figuring out how to search the QListWidget was fun
[16:55:04] <hazzy-m> great!
[16:55:14] <hazzy-m> I should try it out
[16:55:51] <jthornton> it does G0 and G1 at the moment and if you change the feed rate it puts the F in for the new feed rate
[16:56:18] <jthornton> G2/3 will be fun for sure but now that I can search the QListWidget it should be easy
[17:03:27] <hazzy-m> for a lot of things G0 and G1 would probably be enough
[17:04:55] <Not> [02QtPyVCP] 07TurBoss created branch 03FileManager
[17:05:16] <TurBoss> Not Drunk
[17:05:35] <hazzy-m> for once :D

[17:06:54] <Not> [02QtPyVCP] 07TurBoss 03d9d5e94 - typo
[17:07:48] <JT-Shop> yea but g2 and g3 would be cool if you can just jog to the end point and set the radius and get the G2/3 I and J
[17:16:38] <Not> [02QtPyVCP] 07TurBoss pushed 031 commit to 03FileManager [+0/-0/±1] 13https://gitlab.com/Hazzy/qtpyvcp/compare/d9d5e94344963005615cf0dac0ab4c2c65377289...c8880707e7d90ccf9f93de1e16dec94c27a7e74b

[17:18:21] <TurBoss> umount works fine
[17:19:10] <hazzy-m> You mean you don't know what it should show it no USB present?
[17:19:17] <TurBoss> yup
[17:19:49] <hazzy-m> I would just show the /dev folder, what do you think?
[17:19:59] <TurBoss> hmmm
[17:20:13] <TurBoss> not sure
[17:20:24] <TurBoss> it should be showing nc_files

[17:29:44] <hazzy-m> TurBoss: Wow, very nice work!!
[17:29:49] <TurBoss> wow
[17:29:54] <TurBoss> thanks
[17:30:02] <hazzy-m> I like the line edit for typing the file path
[17:30:09] <TurBoss> hehehe
[17:30:37] <TurBoss> I was thinking if we could use a regular dropdown too
[17:30:58] <hazzy-m> I have an idea!
[17:31:04] <TurBoss> oh great
[17:31:11] <hazzy-m> we could an a completer to the line edit!
[17:31:23] <TurBoss> woowowowow
[17:31:30] <hazzy-m> so it guessed where you are going to go
[17:31:51] <hazzy-m> should be easy, i'll mess with it in a bit
[17:31:58] <TurBoss> thanks!
[17:32:26] <hazzy-m> Ok, so when it starts it shows /media
[17:33:33] <hazzy-m> I think we should make the "root" folder for the remote file view be /media/$USER/ instead of /
[17:33:59] <hazzy-m> Other than that I think it is fine the way it is
[17:34:31] <hazzy-m> eject works!!!
[17:35:12] <TurBoss> fine

[18:25:59] <Roguish> TurBoss: thanks. good video. I know Brenda's put a lot of effort and time into the GUI. Best of luck to her in getting the code behind it.
[18:27:15] <Roguish> I disagree with the machine setup being in a GUI, without very serious locks on it. Super dangerous.
[18:33:49] <hazzy-m> Yes, terrible idea to have setup in a GUI, 1) you only have to set it up once, so why waste the time 2) employees can monkey with potentially destructive settings way too easily
[18:35:27] <TurBoss> https://www.youtube.com
