[01:13:03] <hazzy-m> Roguish_desk: Excellent!!
[01:57:33] <Lcvette> Got the turret working, hurray, fully functioning lathe except it only has one Hard drive, so I can't load any programs to test it out
[08:36:30] <TurBoss> MORNING
[08:37:02] <TurBoss> HOW CAN INSTALL THE HAZZY
[08:37:02] <TurBoss> :P
[08:39:16] <TurBoss> is my first day lol
[08:39:30] <TurBoss> that lathe starts moving
[11:17:45] -!- Roguish has joined #hazzy
[11:34:52] <TurBoss> hello Roguish
[11:35:06] <TurBoss> did you get something else to work=?
[11:36:02] <Roguish_desk> yeah, just ran my simple gcode file in probebasic. simple home, then load file, then run. worked ok.
[11:38:32] <Roguish_desk> sure would like a few more basic functions. i'm very used to AXIS gui. it's not perfect, but it's been modified to be useful. it's features are good.
[11:39:50] <Roguish_desk> screen display stuff. clear the screen, use a pre-set view direction (X,Y,Z, iso, etc.)
[11:41:38] <Roguish_desk> also, not sure why, but the display is showing in mm. my complete system is in inches.
[11:44:06] <Roguish_desk> what's up with the SETTINGS page, it's totally blank. shouldn't that be one of the first pages to work on? maybe not complete, but at least some of the basics.....
[12:29:27] <Lcvette> https://youtu.be
[12:29:40] <Lcvette> some footage of the little rhino that could
[12:29:42] <Lcvette> lol
[12:30:53] <Lcvette> yes Turboss, after countless hours of troubleshooting and research and delving into old DOS systems and relearning things i had forgotten form the late 80's, it is finally fully functional!
[12:31:21] <TurBoss> Amazing great job
[12:31:29] <TurBoss> Look very clean
[12:33:17] <Lcvette> yeah it took a while cleaning it up
[12:33:37] <Lcvette> it sat for a very long time and had acculated some surface rust on the exposed parts
[12:33:53] <Lcvette> but it is a very low hour machine
[12:34:26] <Lcvette> total "power on time" for the machine is 141 hours" to date and 3 of those are from me
[12:34:42] <Lcvette> not bad for a 1993 machine
[13:46:38] <TurBoss> nice
[13:46:49] <TurBoss> and you planing a retrofit?
[14:21:54] <Lcvette> yes
[14:22:07] <Lcvette> o ordered servos for it already
[14:22:11] <Lcvette> I
[14:22:14] <Lcvette> nice ones
[14:22:29] <Lcvette> and have everything else here
[14:22:46] <Lcvette> even new Hiwin linear rails and ballscrews
[14:23:31] <Lcvette> to make it more rigid
[14:24:00] <Lcvette> but im not sure if i want to try and rip this one apart and do all that or sell it in running condition as it is and either buy something else, or build one
[14:24:09] <Lcvette> im on the fence
[14:24:18] <Lcvette> i think these bring good money running
[14:24:25] <Lcvette> between $3500-5k
[14:53:00] <TurBoss> Hmmm
