[10:04:02] <JT-Shop2> thanks
[10:04:16] <Lcvette> you are a master at the docs

[10:06:55] <hazzy-m> JT-Shop2: looks great!
[10:07:02] <JT-Shop2> thanks
[10:11:28] <Lcvette> did hazzy say the jog and slider was fixed?
[10:12:02] <hazzy-m> it is (almost) fixed in the settings branch
[10:12:08] <hazzy-m> working on it now
[10:12:12] <Lcvette> ah ha
[10:12:59] <jt-m[m]> nice, can't wait for settings

[10:18:17] <Lcvette> :O
[10:20:52] <Lcvette> thats how you know your getting close
[10:21:01] <Lcvette> the bugs appear
[10:21:07] <Lcvette> its the final challenge
[10:21:11] <Lcvette> the climax
[10:21:14] <Lcvette> :D

[10:28:33] <Lcvette> yes lassy get help
[10:28:39] <Lcvette> lol
[10:35:29] <jt-m[m]> what did you do lol, works fine here...
[10:35:55] <Lcvette> followed the docs instructions to make sure i was up to date and did the pip upgrade
[10:36:32] <Lcvette> pip install git+https://github.com/kcjengr/qtpyvcp.git --upgrade
[10:36:51] <Lcvette> ```pip install git+https://github.com/kcjengr/qtpyvcp.git --upgrade```
[10:37:08] <hazzy-m> aha!
[10:37:26] <Lcvette> i did it in the qtpyvcp temrinal
[10:37:32] <hazzy-m> well that should work, but you won't be able to edit
[10:37:41] <Lcvette> :(
[10:37:50] <hazzy-m> run `pip uninstall qtpyvcp`
[10:37:56] <hazzy-m> maybe run it a few times
[10:38:04] <Lcvette> in same terminal?
[10:38:12] <hazzy-m> and then install as editable with `pip install -e .`
[10:38:18] <hazzy-m> yes
[10:39:02] <hazzy-m> looks like the matrix bot got confused up there lol
[10:40:06] <hazzy-m> *gitterbot
[10:40:31] <Lcvette> ok done
[10:40:37] <Lcvette> next?
[10:42:10] <Lcvette> seems to be working again
[10:42:13] <Lcvette> :D
[10:42:15] <Lcvette> hurray
[10:42:20] <Lcvette> but i still have lots of errors
[10:43:55] <jt-m[m]> I'm not able to run any of the example vcps on the pc that qtpyvcp is installed on, let me upgrade and see... I can run mill_touch
[10:45:19] * Lcvette sent a long message: < https://matrix.org >
[10:45:43] <Lcvette> how do i fix these warnings?
[10:46:24] <jthornton> https://paste.ubuntu.com
[10:46:37] <jthornton> that's what I get trying to run probe basic
[10:47:00] <Lcvette> your busted too JT?
[10:47:16] <Lcvette> its forked!
[10:47:20] <Lcvette> :(
[10:47:29] <jthornton> probe basic is broke but not mill touch
[10:48:26] <hazzy-m> Lcvette: you need to run one of the stock LCNC UIs so the $HOME/linuxcnc dir will be created
[10:48:38] <hazzy-m> use the app menu to launch axis
[10:48:38] <hazzy-m> that should do it
[10:49:28] <hazzy-m> JT's error is also one I've never seen before
[10:49:53] <hazzy-m> the world is falling apart!
[10:49:54] <hazzy-m> lol
[10:49:55] <jt-m[m]> nice
[10:49:58] * Lcvette sent a long message: < https://matrix.org >
[10:50:01] <Lcvette> hurray
[10:50:07] <Lcvette> that fixed alot of them!
[10:50:42] <hazzy-m> ok, and that error is harmless
[10:50:47] <jt-m[m]> hazzy: do you know where designer gets the name of widget? when I add a vcpframe the objectname is as expected vcpframe, when I load a vcpwidget the name is vcp
[10:51:21] <hazzy-m> ah yes, I think it comes from the class name, let me chack
[10:51:36] <Lcvette> the world is falling apart
[10:51:41] <Lcvette> the fork did it
[10:53:06] <hazzy-m> the name is gotten from `WidgetClass.__name__.lower().replace('widget', '')`
[10:53:08] <hazzy-m> lol
[10:53:16] <hazzy-m> so VCKWidget becomes VCP
[10:53:18] <hazzy-m> oops
[10:53:21] <jt-m[m]> lol
[10:53:49] <hazzy-m> I'm going to remove the replace bit
[10:54:00] <jt-m[m]> ok, thanks
[10:54:08] <hazzy-m> might as well just use the whole class bame
[10:54:28] * hazzy-m is more fat fingered than usual today
[10:55:38] <jt-m[m]> do any have the trailing widget?
[10:55:41] <jt-m[m]> I'm not seeing any
[10:56:09] <jt-m[m]> and I can't think of a grep that would search for that without getting every other widget
[10:57:03] <hazzy-m> they used to have all have a trailing `_widget`, but it seemed redundant
[10:57:21] <jt-m[m]> agree
[10:57:23] <hazzy-m> the widget names need a clean up to be consistent
[10:57:46] <hazzy-m> I think they should all start with VCP, to match the Q prefix used by the Q widgets
[10:57:49] <hazzy-m> what do you think?
[10:58:09] <jt-m[m]> looking
[10:58:13] <Not-e6c6> [02qtpyvcp] 07KurtJacobson pushed 031 commit to 03master [+0/-0/±1] 13https://git.io/fjea8
[10:58:14] <Not-e6c6> [02qtpyvcp] 07KurtJacobson 037387007 - use classname.lower() for default objectName
[10:59:25] <jt-m[m]> the q widgets drop the q for the object name and some seem pretty long now...
[11:00:13] <jt-m[m]> there is only 3 that start with VCP now not including the main window
[11:01:15] <hazzy-m> this nameing seems to make sense `class VCPFrame(QFrame, VCPWidget):`
[11:01:32] <hazzy-m> But the vcp should probably be dropped for the object name
[11:02:20] <jt-m[m]> yea, even if you drop a widget in with a widget object name it is widget_2
[11:04:19] <jt-m[m]> so chaning names won't break anything already built

[11:12:46] <Lcvette> hurray?
[11:13:24] <Not-e6c6> [02qtpyvcp] 07KurtJacobson pushed 031 commit to 03gh-pages [+442/-0/±0] 13https://git.io/fjeay

[11:18:50] <roguish[m]> hazzy: hey, when qtpyvcp is finally released, will installable without all the development stuff? i'm trying to figure why my mill setup is getting bit by the watchdog. that system has all the qtpyvcp development stuff on it, and I have no idea of what might be running in the background, if anything. I need to have a barebones linuxcnc system, with only that necessary to run.
[11:20:01] <roguish[m]> it's just that qtpyvcp is sooooo appealing, especially JT's incantation.
[11:20:37] <hazzy-m> roguish: yes, you can already install with out the dev stuff, but it is only QtDesigner which is light and does not run unless you are actualy editing a VCP
[11:21:42] <hazzy-m> qtpyvcp is VERY light weight, on my 2.3GHz with 2GB ram here it uses on average 0% of the CPU and 50-75MB ram
[11:21:43] <roguish[m]> are you going to be able to 'script' an install, pretty much a one-click install?
[11:22:31] <roguish[m]> or even inclcude with a standard CD distro/linuxcnc install?
[11:22:52] <hazzy-m> yes, it would be easy to write a script to install everything with one command, but it is already only two or three commands to copy/paste
[11:23:07] <silopolis[m]> Debian packaging FTW ! :P
[11:23:35] <hazzy-m> silopolis: did you see my deb package? It works, kinda lol
[11:23:44] <hazzy-m> it it very hacky
[11:23:48] <roguish[m]> what is 'FTW' ??
[11:24:00] <jt-m[m]> yea an install.sh would be a easy but you need to sudo some of the stuff so much better to let the user do sudo apt insall stuff
[11:24:14] <jt-m[m]> install even
[11:25:30] <hazzy-m> what, looks like travis is not building the debs, lazy thing. wonder why it does not error out ..
[11:26:28] <hazzy-m> last deb that was built was for v0.1.13, I should have known better than to make a 13 release lol
[11:26:29] <hazzy-m> https://github.com
[11:27:17] <Lcvette> roguish: For The Win
[11:28:37] <roguish[m]> Lcvette: thanks. thought it was fuck the world
[11:28:59] <Lcvette> Fork The WOrld
[11:29:10] <hazzy-m> xD
[11:29:38] <Lcvette> Probe Basic is Nuked
[11:29:41] <Lcvette> :(
[11:30:36] * hazzy-m gets out his big screen
[11:30:55] <Lcvette> that thing should never be put away
[11:31:00] <Lcvette> lol
[11:31:21] <jt-m[m]> it works with development maybe hazzy needs to do a release?
[11:31:21] <Lcvette> hazzy should have dual monitors
[11:31:58] * hazzy-m needs a dual monitor laptop
[11:32:09] <hazzy-m> ah, could be
[11:32:55] <hazzy-m> probably about time I installed on a fresh debian install and see how bad it is
[11:33:17] <jt-m[m]> lol
[11:33:53] * Lcvette uploaded an image: IMG_20190314_113322601_HDR.jpg (83KB) < https://matrix.org >
[11:34:18] <roguish[m]> show off...
[11:34:58] <Lcvette> showing off my sweet sweet cat scratching post monitor stand
[11:34:58] <Lcvette> lol
[11:35:34] * jt-m[m] just figured out the MOFC will be a perfect place to germinate his tomatoe and pepper seeds... just need a small heat source, it's already thermostat controlled
[11:37:01] <silopolis[m]> hazzy: no haven't yet, and as I reeeeaally aim at hacking and hopefully contributing to this... I'm getting ready to take the hard path ;)
[11:37:47] <Lcvette> silopolis: whats the hard path?
[11:37:55] <silopolis[m]> Lcvette: "Fork The World" gotta love it !
[11:38:47] * jt-m[m] uploaded an image: VectorImage_2019-03-14_103836.jpg (189KB) < https://matrix.org >
[11:40:01] <roguish[m]> how do you guys get your pictures here so fast?
[11:40:28] <jt-m[m]> phone
[11:40:50] <silopolis[m]> Lcvette: install and manage dependencies, clone and branch repos... Well I meant harder that a apt-get install
[11:40:52] * jt-m[m] uploaded an image: VectorImage_2019-03-14_104042.jpg (123KB) < https://matrix.org >
[11:40:53] <Lcvette> matric
[11:40:56] <roguish[m]> yeah, but how from the phone to here?
[11:40:57] <Lcvette> matrix
[11:41:08] <Lcvette> riot im app
[11:41:31] <jt-m[m]> I have riot on my phone and you just click on the paper clip
[11:41:55] <Lcvette> its pretty convenient
[11:42:04] <Lcvette> way better then the old IRQ
[11:42:13] <Lcvette> that was painful
[11:42:28] * jt-m[m] uploaded an image: VectorImage_2019-03-14_104218.jpg (135KB) < https://matrix.org >
[11:42:34] <roguish[m]> ok thats is.
[11:43:03] <silopolis[m]> riot app is cool indeed, wish STMBL had a bridge here so I can get rid of this gitter trap
[11:47:47] <hazzy-m> JT: is that a brewing apperatus?
[11:48:20] <hazzy-m> and what is the device with the analog meter on it? Simpson multi meter?
[11:51:29] <jt-m[m]> hazzy: yes that is my Mother of a Fermentation Chiller and the device is an Adjust-a-Volt
[11:52:01] <jt-m[m]> very old, when the FFA was going to toss them out my Dad brought home 3 of them
[11:52:07] <jt-m[m]> FAA even
[11:53:37] <hazzy-m> neat! it is like a variac?
[11:54:15] * hazzy-m uploaded an image: IMG_20190314_115239403.jpg (337KB) < https://matrix.org >
[11:55:06] * hazzy-m has a vew small variacs, and some big ones stashed somewhere
[11:55:09] <jt-m[m]> it is a variac and I have two just like the little ones in that photo
[11:55:17] <jt-m[m]> but not as pristeen lol
[11:55:56] <hazzy-m> they are really handy things to have around
[11:58:02] <jt-m[m]> http://gnipsel.com
[12:00:26] <hazzy-m> wow, that is nice!
[12:01:01] <hazzy-m> we just use a big old cooler and kinda try to keep the temp right
[12:02:27] <hazzy-m> I got an old fridge I was doing to modify with a cheap PID temp controller, but haven't got around to it
[12:41:36] <Lcvette> Hurray, i just tried the setting branch
[12:41:48] <Lcvette> i set the jog slider to 100 and saved and it stayed and opened probe basic at 100%
[12:41:49] <Lcvette> :D
[12:42:14] <jt-m[m]> sweet
[12:43:06] <hazzy-m> Lcvette: its getting even better right now :)
[12:43:19] <Lcvette> hurray!
[13:45:51] <jt-m[m]> yea the germination chamber is in operation and the circulation fan was 120vac so it just wires into the heater
[13:46:07] <jt-m[m]> just need to cobble up some shelves for the trays
[13:46:28] <hazzy-m> fantastic!
[13:47:05] <jt-m[m]> I used my Love Controls heat/cool controller as it switches AC so piece of pie
[13:47:31] <jt-m[m]> that used to control the kegarator
[14:05:29] <Not-e6c6> [02qtpyvcp] 07KurtJacobson pushed 032 commits to 03Settings [+1/-0/±6] 13https://git.io/fjeog
[14:05:30] <Not-e6c6> [02qtpyvcp] 07KurtJacobson 033991542 - add min and max value limits for settings
[14:05:32] <Not-e6c6> [02qtpyvcp] 07KurtJacobson 03e089dc4 - add settings widgets
[14:43:25] <Lcvette> You did it?
[14:43:30] <Lcvette> :D
[14:43:45] <hazzy-m> more of it lol
[14:43:57] <Lcvette> Hurray!!
[14:55:32] * jt-m[m] gives up trying to figure out the 4 wheel drive in the truck for the day... can hear the shift motor working but the front diff actuator does not move... I guess it's a bad TCCM but can't seem to figure out how to get it out of the dash...
[14:55:46] <jt-m[m]> oh well of to manards
[15:07:55] <roguish[m]> Lcvette. machining question please. I have a small pulley that has a 1/2" bore. it needs a 20mm bore. I have a 20mm reamer, provided by customer. how big a rough bore should I have for the 20mm reamer? I have always been told to leave at least .015" diameter so the reamer has material to cut. Is that right? or what?
[15:30:56] <Lcvette> I would say it's dependent o. The setup
[15:31:20] <Lcvette> How rigid everything is
[15:31:34] <Lcvette> Heavier the cut the more chance for wander
[15:32:22] <Lcvette> But you want enough material to have the blades work or they won't actually cut smoothly
[15:32:38] <jt-m[m]> I use 1/64 under the reamer size
[15:33:02] <Lcvette> On a big machine with good rigidity
[15:33:53] <Lcvette> I'd say that's probably fine
[15:34:25] <jt-m[m]> Double feed half the rpm used to drill
[15:35:17] <roguish[m]> ok, that's pretty much what I'm doing. thanks.
[15:35:45] <Lcvette> This on the bridgeport....
[15:36:16] <Lcvette> If so that's no problem
[15:36:16] <hazzy-m> roguish: how many do you have to do?
[15:36:57] <Lcvette> And make sure the drill is straight
[16:45:06] <jt-m[m]> bridgeport made a lot of different machines...
[16:47:08] <Lcvette> yeah, but i was assessing whether he was trying to use the mill, a lathe, or a taig
[16:47:11] <Lcvette> lol
[16:47:46] <jt-m[m]> lol a taig
[16:48:07] <Lcvette> n which case ANY bridgeport would be considered fine
[16:48:16] <Lcvette> by comparison
[16:48:28] <jt-m[m]> actually my tilt and nod can't take much Z pressure without moving the head up :(
[16:48:55] <Lcvette> yeah
[16:49:06] <jt-m[m]> I don't think reaming has ever moved it but drilling a big hole can
[16:49:21] <Lcvette> but a 3/4" bore for reaming with ~.015 should be fine
[16:49:31] <Lcvette> thats a fairly light cut
[16:50:17] <Lcvette> with a good tool
[16:51:02] <jt-m[m]> yea all the reaming guides I've seen more or less say 1/64" undersize hole and 2x feed and 1/2x rpm
[16:51:05] <Lcvette> i do 13/16" reaming on my G0704 in aluminum frequently for a part and it doesn't flinch
[16:51:45] <jt-m[m]> the 704 is a rigid head?
[16:51:48] <Lcvette> and im reaming an interpolated hole
[16:51:49] <Lcvette> lol
[16:52:13] <Lcvette> g0704 and rigid in the same sentence is kind of sketchy
[16:52:20] <Lcvette> in any respect
[16:52:23] <Lcvette> lol
[16:52:30] <jt-m[m]> lol
[16:52:39] <hazzy-m> ridged and 0704 don't belong in the same sentence
[16:52:49] <hazzy-m> LOL
[16:53:11] <hazzy-m> we said almost the exact same thing
[16:53:22] <jt-m[m]> I'm guessing any mill that starts with G is not very tight
[16:53:23] <Lcvette> but i have enough weight on my head and enough power that it usually can sneak through jobs it shouldn't be able to
[16:53:55] <hazzy-m> JT some the the Grizzy BP clones are VERY nice machines
[16:54:07] <hazzy-m> but they are not cheap either
[16:54:25] <jt-m[m]> I don't think they had one last time I went to the Griz store
[16:55:15] <hazzy-m> Meehanite castings and all. But grizzly owns south bend now so i guess they should be better quality
[16:55:21] <jt-m[m]> my buddy got two bp size manual mills from them a few years back and in less than 9 months had 1/8" slop in the X leadscrew
[16:55:39] * hazzy-m goes back to grinding after giving the compressor a few to catch up
[16:55:48] <jt-m[m]> the griz might be moving up then
[16:55:59] <jt-m[m]> yea me too back to work
[16:56:17] <Lcvette> lcvette just finished work for the day and just plugged in his new crossover cable
[16:56:19] <Lcvette> :D
[16:57:45] <hazzy-m> this machine is a beauty: https://www.grizzly.com
[16:58:54] <hazzy-m> much nicer than the typical MSC/Vextrax
[17:01:28] * JT-Shop has a 8" x 36" enco that is pretty solid
[17:01:59] <JT-Shop> that looks a lot better than the ones my buddy got
[17:06:29] <Lcvette> lcvette has no manual machine
[17:06:41] <Lcvette> but has been considering maybe a bed mill
[17:07:33] <Lcvette> once probe basic is finished and running and the big vmc is running i will sell the G0704 and replace it with a manual i think
[17:07:42] <Lcvette> or semi manual
[17:08:08] <Lcvette> like a tool room setup with mpg handwheels for xyz
[17:08:26] <Lcvette> that can also run programs
[17:08:43] <Lcvette> and use something like JT's BPtouch
[17:09:14] <Lcvette> would like to find something with boxed ways
[17:09:21] <Lcvette> real rigid
[17:09:25] <Lcvette> with some decent travels
[17:16:56] <JT-Shop> mill_touch is an improvement to bp_touch
[17:17:32] <JT-Shop> https://github.com
[17:17:53] <JT-Shop> made improvements after using bp_touch for a while
[17:19:43] <Lcvette> JT-Shop: like vanilla
[18:10:52] -!- JT-Shop2 has quit [Read error: Connection reset by peer]
[18:45:56] <jt-m[m]> Woody seems to be feeling better she ate 4 times today, small bowl but she is a small cat lol. She curled up and took a nap on my lap a little while ago...
[18:47:22] <jt-m[m]> hazzy: any ideas on how we can provide off line documents to people who install with pip install git+https://github.com/kcjengr/qtpyvcp.git

[19:53:53] <hazzy-m> JT: We could include PDF docs maybe
[19:55:12] <jt-m[m]> I made latex docs then converted to pdf this morning but need to figure out how to index the pdf
[19:56:26] <Lcvette> JT, don't the docs get installed and you make them?
[19:56:46] <hazzy-m> hmmm, there is a `make qthelp` option
[19:56:54] <hazzy-m> womder what that does
[19:57:03] <jt-m[m]> hmm I wonder what that does
[19:57:11] <jt-m[m]> lol
[19:57:39] <jt-m[m]> Lcvette: yea but I'm talking about a pip install not a clone then install
[19:58:17] <Lcvette> can you not include those files in th e pip install?
[20:03:51] <jt-m[m]> well they are not made by default
[20:04:04] <jt-m[m]> travis makes them and puts them on the web
[20:04:34] <hazzy-m> we really need pip subcommands to enable doing things like `pip install examples`, `pip install docs` ect.
[20:06:30] <jt-m[m]> that would be nice
[20:07:02] <jt-m[m]> silly birds 4 on the east side and 4 on the west side tonight, can't make up their mind

[20:10:49] <jt-m[m]> yea I'm happy with it
[20:11:17] <jt-m[m]> I think the circulation fan is a big part of maintaining the temp
[20:11:26] <hazzy-m> your poor sidlings won't know whats happend once they get out in the wild lol
[20:12:14] <hazzy-m> you should program some variation in :D
[20:12:34] <jt-m[m]> once they sprout I'll move them to the rack with the grow bulbs and I got a tip to have a fan blowing on them to stimulate strong stalks
[20:12:40] <jt-m[m]> lol
[20:13:28] <hazzy-m> yes, the fan helps a lot, otherwize they get long and lancky and can't support their own weight
[20:13:40] <hazzy-m> it also seems to make them less prone to fungus problems
[20:13:47] <jt-m[m]> yea found that out last year
[20:13:55] <jt-m[m]> didn't know that
[20:14:50] <hazzy-m> the peach trees are blooming!
[20:15:25] <jt-m[m]> cool, on peach street? or peach ave or peach lane or...
[20:16:32] <hazzy-m> lol, there are no peaches on peachtree street here, I guess there were once
[20:16:45] <jt-m[m]> lol
[20:17:19] <hazzy-m> used to have 5 peach trees and 2 apricots and a few cherreis, only 2 peaches left :(

[20:20:44] <Lcvette> if you want squirrels, just get some bird seed
[20:21:07] <Lcvette> i have tons of squirells coming to my bird feeder area

[20:23:05] <hazzy-m> Gamo Expo-26, its a nice air gun, had it for years and use it a LOT
[20:23:22] <jt-m[m]> cool
[20:23:40] <jt-m[m]> dinner time here, tacos are ready and I'm hungry
[20:23:55] <hazzy-m> its not quite powerfull enough for squirells though, you have to hit them just right for a clean kill
[20:24:08] <hazzy-m> enjoy!
[20:24:43] <jt-m[m]> the .177 whisper will kill a dog!
[22:25:45] <hazzy-m> Lcvette: are you having problems running PB?
[22:33:16] <Lcvette> What problems?
[22:34:03] <Lcvette> Pb has issues
[22:34:23] <Lcvette> But it's for the installed version
[22:34:41] <Lcvette> Some python 2.7 package errors

[23:26:16] <hazzy-m> you installed with the --upgrade flag when you had problems?
[23:26:34] <Lcvette> Yes
[23:27:08] <Lcvette> Someone installed the regular version and emailed me with the same errors as but too
[23:27:27] <hazzy-m> ok
[23:28:09] <hazzy-m> can you forward me the errors? I can't reproduce any problem here
[23:28:27] <hazzy-m> or better yet open an issue on github
[23:28:55] * Lcvette uploaded an image: Screenshot_2019-03-14-23-28-33.png (316KB) < https://matrix.org >
[23:31:16] <hazzy-m> thanks!
[23:33:07] <hazzy-m> did you get those same error messages?
[23:33:16] <Lcvette> Yes
[23:34:12] <hazzy-m> that is an error in the debus server. it is intermitent and I'm not sure how to fix it, but it should not effect the way QtPyVCP runs
[23:37:11] <Lcvette> :(
[23:38:15] <Lcvette> It does
[23:38:15] <hazzy-m> did it break anything?
[23:38:19] <Lcvette> It won't run
[23:38:37] <hazzy-m> ah, then that is not ok!
[23:38:56] <hazzy-m> does it occure every time you try to run?
[23:39:13] <Lcvette> You fixed mine
[23:39:40] <Lcvette> Uninstalled and reinstalled
[23:39:56] <Lcvette> Had to uninstall several times
[23:40:03] <Lcvette> Then reinstall
[23:40:08] <Lcvette> Then it worked
[23:42:29] * Lcvette uploaded an image: Screenshot_2019-03-14-23-42-16.png (199KB) < https://matrix.org >
[23:44:17] <hazzy-m> if it was the dbus error then I think it is pure conincidance that uninstalling, unununstalling fixed it
[23:44:41] <hazzy-m> unununstalling is the same as uninstalling, oops
[23:50:56] <hazzy-m> this looks interesting: https://github.com
[23:51:13] <Lcvette> What's that?
[23:52:02] <hazzy-m> a rabbit hole
[23:52:46] <Lcvette> Did you try installing probe basic?
[23:52:50] <hazzy-m> might be usefull for making nice clean deb packages
[23:53:12] <hazzy-m> yes, before I asked for the error messages
[23:53:17] <hazzy-m> I can't reproduce
[23:53:31] <hazzy-m> but I am researching the debus error
[23:53:37] <hazzy-m> can't find mush help :(
[23:54:51] <Lcvette> You installed it as if you were just a regular Joe?
[23:55:02] <Lcvette> Or you just ran the one line thing?
[23:55:18] <hazzy-m> `pip install git+https://github.com/kcjengr/qtpyvcp.git --upgrade`
[23:55:31] <Lcvette> No you need to install
[23:55:44] <Lcvette> To get those errors like jt and the other guy
[23:55:49] <hazzy-m> what do you mean?
[23:56:06] <Lcvette> Use the docs
[23:56:14] <Lcvette> Install as if you were ajoe shmoe
[23:56:27] <Lcvette> Start to finish
[23:56:40] <hazzy-m> the docs say `pip install git+https://github.com/kcjengr/qtpyvcp.git`
