[06:37:18] <JT[m]1> morning
[09:21:40] <Lcvette> Morning
[09:21:43] <Lcvette> https://blog.qt.io
[09:21:49] <Lcvette> \o/
[09:40:26] <hazzy-m> morning
[09:43:01] <Lcvette> morning
[09:43:05] <Lcvette> o/
[09:43:13] <hazzy-m> o/
[09:45:18] <Lcvette> hazzy do you remember you made the probe routine shorter by doing something?
[09:45:38] <Lcvette> but i can't find it now
[09:45:55] <Lcvette> not sure where the turboprobe stuff went
[09:45:57] <hazzy-m> I forgot too lol
[09:45:59] <hazzy-m> sek
[09:46:43] <Lcvette> it changes that big long strong of offsets into a small couple lines
[09:46:54] <hazzy-m> right
[09:47:15] <hazzy-m> indirection FTW
[09:47:37] <Lcvette> \o/
[09:47:57] <Lcvette> whats that?
[09:47:58] <Lcvette> lol
[09:48:46] <hazzy-m> `workspace_z = #[5203 + [20 * #5220]]`
[09:48:48] <hazzy-m> I think
[09:49:05] <Lcvette> that sounds familiar
[09:49:27] <hazzy-m> `#<abs_probed_z_pos> = #[5203 + [20 * #5220]] + #5063`
[09:49:33] <hazzy-m> you could also just use that
[09:50:51] <hazzy-m> For any axes replace the x in the exp. below with the axis number. (x = 1, y = 2, z = 3 ....)
[09:50:52] <hazzy-m> `#<abs_probed_pos> = #[520x + [20 * #5220]] + #506x`
[09:51:07] <Lcvette> that covers all axis probed?
[09:51:16] <Lcvette> ah
[10:01:03] * Lcvette sent a long message: < https://matrix.org >
[10:01:06] <Lcvette> ?
[10:01:11] <Lcvette> hazzy like so?
[10:02:55] <Lcvette> or no if statement needed
[10:03:12] <hazzy-m> right, not need fgor the if statmens now
[10:04:43] * Lcvette sent a long message: < https://matrix.org >
[10:07:13] <Lcvette> so would look like this now?
[10:07:17] <Lcvette> hazzy?
[10:25:26] <JT[m]1> hazzy: did you figure out what was wrong with your clutch?
[10:53:25] * JT[m]1 uploaded a video: MTV6-1.mp4 (2794KB) < https://matrix.org >
[10:53:41] <Lcvette> JT: morning!
[10:55:02] <JT[m]1> morning
[10:55:21] <JT[m]1> getting closer on V6
[10:55:42] <JT[m]1> be back in a bit
[10:56:04] <hazzy-m> JT: No, but I drove the ranger yesterday and remembered how much I hate that truck, what a peice of junk lol
[10:56:31] <Lcvette> JT: looking good!
[10:56:35] <Lcvette> man thats alot of buttons
[10:57:17] <Lcvette> hazzy: hazzy were you able to confirm a diagnosis?
[10:57:46] <hazzy-m> I had left if on the road a few blocks down since I was in a rush and could not get it into gear, so last nice when traffic was down I went to look at it and slave and master booth seem fine. I started it in great and drove it home and now it shifts perfect
[10:58:24] <Lcvette> clutch is working again?
[10:58:36] <hazzy-m> I think the clutch fork might have gotten out of place some how
[10:58:50] <hazzy-m> yeah, clutch works great now :shrug"
[10:58:59] <Lcvette> hmmmm
[10:59:36] <Lcvette> maybe the fork came off the throwoutbearing
[10:59:48] <Lcvette> when you started it in gear it rotated back onto it
[11:00:22] <hazzy-m> that is what I am thinking
[11:00:49] <Lcvette> means you probably need replace the clutch
[11:01:04] <hazzy-m> wonder if the bearing is going bad and is stiff and causes the fork to to get pushed up or something
[11:01:41] <Lcvette> worn to the point there is enough slop in the fork and throwout bearing that it allows it towiggle free
[11:02:13] <hazzy-m> oh, that makes sence
[11:02:20] <Lcvette> or if there is meat left on the clutch may need to adjust the pivot ball on the clutch fork
[11:02:43] <Lcvette> either way both of those require pulling the tranny in most cases
[11:03:18] <Lcvette> need proper gap or preload on the fork per mfg
[11:04:50] <hazzy-m> that clutch has 201,200 on it and has done a LOT of towing, of loads it was never desingned for.. bobcats, dichwiches, trailers with stone, dirt, bridgeports. Can't beleive it has not completely failed yet
[11:05:14] <Lcvette> if its an old truck and on its last legs you maybe could "slot" the slave cylinder mounting holes to move it closer to the fork
[11:05:39] <Lcvette> if its a side mount
[11:05:58] <Lcvette> if its a face mount, not much you can do unless it already has shims
[11:06:15] <hazzy-m> it is a side mount
[11:06:32] <Lcvette> so thats an option but if it has 200k on the clutch......
[11:07:14] <Lcvette> better alternative is a new clutch, TOB, pilot bearing and drain, clean and refill and bleed the hydraulic system
[11:07:26] <hazzy-m> and very little of that 200k are hwy miles, mostly stop and go in city traffic
[11:07:39] <Lcvette> and resurface the flywheel
[11:07:53] <Lcvette> or replace
[11:08:27] <hazzy-m> yeah, I think its worth doing, engine runs great and its very reliable
[11:09:23] <Lcvette> looks like clutch kits are silly cheap for that truck too
[11:15:54] <Lcvette> 2wd?
[11:15:58] <Lcvette> or 4wd?
[11:16:54] <Lcvette> hazzy?
[11:18:14] <Lcvette> https://www.rockauto.com
[11:18:41] <hazzy-m> 2wd
[11:19:26] <hazzy-m> that's cheap
[11:20:35] <Lcvette> Luk, Valeo, Sachs are pretty common reputable replacement parts
[11:20:48] <Lcvette> i wouldn't hesitate using them
[11:20:58] <Lcvette> in a beater
[11:35:24] <Lcvette> partnumber for the flywheel is G601-11-500B
[11:35:40] <Lcvette> hazzy, doesn't seem to be a cheap aftermnarket option for it
[11:35:45] <Lcvette> not sure why
[11:35:59] <Lcvette> but mazda has them for about $230
[11:36:10] <Lcvette> hopefully it is not a dual mass flywhee;
[11:36:13] <Lcvette> flywheel
[11:36:41] <Lcvette> if it is a single mass, it should be easily resurfaced

[16:37:13] <Lcvette> if my wife saw me playing video games it would be a "discussion"
[16:37:15] <Lcvette> lol
[16:37:21] <TurBoss> lol
[16:38:17] <Lcvette> if i have time for video games i have time to pressure wash the house, build a screened in porch, put in a new tile backsplash in the kitchen
[16:38:42] <Lcvette> the list is long of things she would think have higher priority than video games
[16:57:45] * hazzy-m is in the same boat LOL
[16:58:21] <hazzy-m> last game I played was midtown madness in 2001 or 2 hehe

[17:08:54] <JT[m]1> is there a way to pan the vtk with controls?
[17:10:18] <Lcvette> JT: i looked for a way but never found one
[17:10:40] <Lcvette> or not one i was able to implement on my own i should say
[17:10:45] <Lcvette> i made a button for it too
[17:14:50] <JT[m]1> I'd bet there is a way...
[17:16:23] <Lcvette> JT: im certain there is
[17:16:33] <Lcvette> i was just never able toi implement
[17:16:49] <Lcvette> tried for a day i think

[18:31:59] <TurBoss> ✌
[18:32:08] <hazzy-m> The muscle on his arm was damaged but it's already healing well so all he needs are skin grafts on chest and arm!
[18:35:07] <Lcvette> do we know what happened?
[18:37:41] <hazzy-m> Not for sure, they were burning leaves and somehow his synthetic jacket caught fire, he dropped and rolled in the snow but couldn't get it out
[18:38:29] <Lcvette> geez
[18:38:46] <Lcvette> lawsuit
[18:39:18] <jthornton> yea I thought jackets were supposed to be somewhat fire resistant
[18:41:00] <Lcvette> they are
[18:41:05] <Lcvette> all clothing is
[18:44:10] <hazzy-m> Yeah, I think they are required to be are least somewhat fire resistant
[18:45:06] <hazzy-m> I caught a fleece jacket on fire welding once, it only burned a dime sized hole and was pretty easy to get out
[18:46:22] <hazzy-m> He can be clumsy, I wonder if he actually fell into the fire, but it all happened so quickly I don't think he even knows
[18:49:20] * hazzy-m has been sitting in traffic for over an hour :(
[18:58:16] * jthornton hates traffic
[19:02:51] <Lcvette> is hazzy home yet?

[21:44:01] <Lcvette> Lol
[21:49:36] <TurBoss> lil
[22:55:36] <Lcvette> Turboss, do you know how to make a probe button?
[22:55:59] <Lcvette> Like from way back on n turbo probe?
[23:01:08] <hazzy-m> the probe button is just a subcall button
[23:02:13] <hazzy-m> only it had a combobox to select the subrutine to be called
[23:04:47] <Lcvette> I mean the trigger
[23:04:55] <Lcvette> For testing
[23:05:03] <hazzy-m> you mean to simulate the probe trip?
[23:05:08] <Lcvette> Yeah
[23:05:10] <hazzy-m> there should be a widget for that
[23:05:33] <Lcvette> ?
[23:06:28] <hazzy-m> ProbeSim widget
[23:07:12] <hazzy-m> you could also use a HAL Button and connect it to the probe input pin
[23:07:48] <hazzy-m> I should make the HAL Button pulse-able
[23:08:19] <TurBoss> yo no
[23:25:55] * Lcvette uploaded an image: Screenshot_2019-04-18_23-25-21.png (330KB) < https://matrix.org >
[23:26:05] <Lcvette> :/

[23:26:38] <Lcvette> geez man
[23:26:48] <Lcvette> alot of wasted time gone
[23:28:29] <hazzy-m> I thought you knew about the widget, you asked TurBoss to make it and there was a good bit of discusion about it
[23:29:19] <Lcvette> lol
[23:29:26] <Lcvette> never knew it was made
[23:29:59] <Lcvette> had i known i would have been working on probe routines..lol
[23:31:54] <TurBoss> what I missed?
[23:32:04] <Lcvette> apparantly nothing...lol
[23:32:08] <TurBoss> cool
[23:32:22] <TurBoss> 👷
[23:32:23] <Lcvette> you made the probe sim
[23:32:36] <TurBoss> I did?
[23:32:45] <Lcvette> hazzy said you did?
[23:32:49] <TurBoss> huray!
[23:32:56] <Lcvette> lol

[23:33:28] <hazzy-m> you both forgot xD
[23:33:28] <TurBoss> I can't remember
[23:33:41] <TurBoss> TurBoSubCaller?
[23:33:48] <TurBoss> wasn't made by you?
[23:34:04] <hazzy-m> yes, that is what I thought Lcvette was talking about too
[23:34:18] <hazzy-m> but he just meant the probe trigger button
[23:34:23] <TurBoss> ah
[23:34:42] <TurBoss> the ATC confused me
[23:34:46] <hazzy-m> Lcvette: is it working?
[23:35:42] * TurBoss id debugging a python app hosted in germany
[23:35:55] <TurBoss> I hope I don't get out
[23:36:10] <hazzy-m> cool!
[23:36:25] <TurBoss> pycharm Pr0 allows to debug remote python interpreters
[23:36:41] <hazzy-m> bugs in a german app? I thought they were perfectionists lol
[23:36:51] <hazzy-m> sweet!
[23:36:59] <TurBoss> duno they just gived me the keys

[23:38:32] * TurBoss was nominated captian like homer
[23:38:54] <hazzy-m> LOL
[23:39:27] <hazzy-m> TurBoss: that's great! What kind of app is it?
[23:39:47] <TurBoss> the springrts.com server
[23:39:47] <TurBoss> :O
[23:40:03] <Lcvette> TurBoss: how do i disable the grid?
[23:40:03] <hazzy-m> whoa!
[23:40:19] <Lcvette> congrats turboss!
[23:40:33] <TurBoss> ty
[23:40:37] <TurBoss> hmmmm grid
[23:40:47] <TurBoss> isn't there a option in designer?
[23:41:12] <TurBoss> jus filled a empty function
[23:41:30] <TurBoss> so I think that enable disable works
[23:41:40] <Lcvette> looked but didn't see one
[23:42:08] <TurBoss> I'll fix it
[23:42:13] <TurBoss> not now
[23:42:29] <TurBoss> not in ahurry?
