[06:43:18] <hazzy-m> Nice! Was it worth it?
[06:43:52] <jthornton> yes it's a nice ride down hwy 106
[06:44:29] <hazzy-m> we rode peddle bikes 40miles yesterday on an old rail line, had several tunnles (one 750 ft long) and several tressles. It was perfect weather
[06:44:33] <jthornton> didn't have time to visit nearby Alley Springs grist mill had to get home and get the ribs on
[06:45:25] <jthornton> what did they do for the trestle to make it ready to ride?
[07:01:43] <hazzy-m> they put down steel pans and then poored caoncrete, its nover very asthetic, but works
[07:02:15] <hazzy-m> that spelling xD
[07:03:16] <jthornton> better than using pykrete
[07:04:38] <hazzy-m> indeed
[07:07:42] <hazzy-m> there is also a rather large old wooden road trestle that goes over the rail line, it was still in service and had a creosote coaded road bed untill they put in a monstrus concrete and steel bridge about a year ago
[07:09:17] <jthornton> where are you riding at?
[07:14:01] -!- The_Ball has quit [Ping timeout: 268 seconds]
[07:14:38] <hazzy-m> its the old silver comet passanger rail line, I rode from a little bit west of ATL almost to the alabama border
[07:19:14] <jthornton> that's pretty cool you have that near by
[07:19:32] <jthornton> do you stage a car at the end of the ride?
[10:53:39] <hazzy-m> That would nice, but just go both ways
[18:51:31] <Lcvette> hazzy: were you able to work out the incremental?
