[15:37:37] <Joco[m]> I’m debating which card to get to add encoder capability to 7i76 or 7i76e. Toss up between the 7i85S or 7i89. I like the idea of the i89 as it keeps options open later to convert to servos or add encoders to steppers.

[16:08:39] <Joco[m]> From my reading they come in two variants. Direct drive and belt drive. Hope is the belt version. Seems to be better regarded.
