[13:23:54] <seb_kuzminsky> i turned off the last armhf buildslave :-(
[13:23:56] <seb_kuzminsky> too flaky
[13:24:30] <seb_kuzminsky> the buildbot will not test linuxcnc on armhf, or publish armhf debs, for the forseeable future
[13:25:21] <seb_kuzminsky> if reasonable, stable armhf server-class hardware shows up on the market i may propose a fundraiser to buy some for the buildbot
[13:28:15] <rene_dev_> seb_kuzminsky ah, so there is no real issue?
[14:02:21] <rene_dev_> seb_kuzminsky I tried to merge 2.7 into master, to get the tp changes, but there are a lot of conflicts
[14:02:38] <rene_dev_> with docs and configs... how is that usually handled?
[14:34:43] <seb_kuzminsky> the only way to handle it is for someone to resolve the conflict by hand
[14:35:07] <seb_kuzminsky> if it's giving you trouble you can ask for help from the people who have touched the code where the conflict is
[14:40:01] <seb_kuzminsky> linuxcnc-build: force build --branch=2.7 0000.checkin
[14:40:01] <linuxcnc-build> build #5688 forced
[14:40:02] <linuxcnc-build> I'll give a shout when the build finishes

[16:14:39] -linuxcnc-github:#linuxcnc-devel- [13linuxcnc] 15c-morley opened issue #523: angular only movement doesn't honour max velocity setting 02https://github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/issues/523

[16:41:12] -linuxcnc-github:#linuxcnc-devel- [13linuxcnc] 15rene-dev commented on issue #523: using the same max value for angular and linear moves does not make sense. So really, you need 2 sliders, for max linear and angular velocity? 02https://github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/issues/523#issuecomment-435619203
[16:48:52] -linuxcnc-github:#linuxcnc-devel- [13linuxcnc] 15c-morley commented on issue #523: Max velocity was a hack to create a way to slow down rapids a long time ago.... 02https://github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/issues/523#issuecomment-435619688
[17:10:14] -linuxcnc-github:#linuxcnc-devel- [13linuxcnc] 15rene-dev commented on issue #523: ah, yes. I like the idea of a factor. but of what? fastest linear/angular axis? 02https://github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/issues/523#issuecomment-435621155

[19:23:54] -linuxcnc-github:#linuxcnc-devel- [13linuxcnc] 15rene-dev commented on issue #523: keep in mind that you can go faster than max linear velocity, when you move more than 1 axis at once...... 02https://github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/issues/523#issuecomment-435628650
[19:28:34] -linuxcnc-github:#linuxcnc-devel- [13linuxcnc] 15c-morley commented on issue #523: I'm not sure how the current implementation covers this but it seems to work fine in that regard.... 02https://github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/issues/523#issuecomment-435628911
