[16:15:44] <mozmck> Anyone know the status of G52 in Linuxcnc? zultron implemented it, but it looks like it didn't make it in (yet?).
[16:17:52] <hazzy-m> mozmck: I tested it a few weeks ago, it seems to be fully functional in master
[16:30:34] <mozmck> Was that done on top of master?
[16:30:48] <mozmck> I wonder if there was some reason it was not merged?
[16:32:12] <mozmck> bbl
[16:50:47] <hazzy-m> mozmck: Just tested G52 again in latest master from buildbot, it works as exprected
[16:52:19] <hazzy-m> I don't know when it was merged, but somebody mentioned using G52 on the forum a while back and I tried it and sure enough it works
[16:53:53] <hazzy-m> the G52 offsets values show up in the linuxcnc.stat.g92_offset array
[17:58:36] <mozmck> hazzy-m: oh, I just realized that you said G52 is IN master
[17:59:03] <mozmck> I was thinking it had been merged but then could not find that when browsing the git history - good to know!

[18:32:16] <jthornton> what is g52 it works but it's not in the docs :(
[18:34:10] <Tom_L> read a little under G10
[18:34:19] <Tom_L> http://linuxcnc.org
[18:34:48] <Tom_L> http://linuxcnc.org
[18:35:15] <hazzy-m> it's use is very similar to g92, but instead of adding to the current G52 offset like G92 does it resets it to the new value
[18:36:05] <hazzy-m> so G52 X0 Y0 will zero out the ofset, wheras G92 X0 Y0 would not change the G92 offset if one was active
[18:36:06] <jthornton> aww geez it's not in the g code list
[18:36:51] <Tom_L> i bet i know a guy that can fix that
[18:37:13] <hazzy-m> jthornton: your slipping
[18:37:14] <hazzy-m> :D
[18:37:45] <jthornton> someone is sneaky I think lol
