[21:12:15] <CMorley> Tom_L: emco f1 converted to linuxcnc, i also have a okuma bed lathe (currently with a dead drive) converted to linuxcnc.
[21:13:21] <CMorley> I got ffm and turn to work - I assume production milling won't work
[22:16:08] <hazzy-m> CMorley: talking of drives, have you done any more with your STMBLs?
[22:16:33] <hazzy-m> mine are still sitting on the test bench ...
[22:16:47] <Tom_L> worked on the macro a bit more
[22:16:57] <Tom_L> CMorley, no ffm takes it's place
[22:17:07] <Tom_L> but it's the same with more features
[22:18:18] <Tom_L> the macro will now do RH & LH threads starting from the top or bottom creating a Z leadin move either way
[23:16:54] <CMorley> Tom_L ok thanks alot - pretty damn cool
[23:20:40] <CMorley> hazzy-m: I was testing and had a problem with communication if i drove the motor very fast - probably interference. I decided to switch to my other mesaboard in prep for actually testing in the machine that will use it - had to figure out how to reflash - build a cable etc - so it has not progressed as far as I would like - as always.
[23:26:40] <Tom_L> CMorley, if you've used Pturn you shouldn't have any trouble gettin goin
