[06:27:11] <Corubba> I am porting a python 2 application from pyqt v4 to v5 and have trouble with a QAbstractListModel: its data method returns None for all roles except DisplayRole where it returns the string to display. It worked with v4; in v5 the items are there and i can browse/click them, but they don't have a display text, just blank.

[06:46:30] <Corubba> Sometimes it helps to just write down the problem: the returned display text had the wrong type.
