[12:15:01] <altendky> i assume there's a way to have scrollbars that doesn't introduce hysteresis but... afaik normally it's there
[12:15:54] <Avaris> i can expand fitInView a bit and that resolves but...

[12:16:39] <altendky> maybe with a singleshot to let it settle and really calculate
[12:16:48] <altendky> (obviously not a good solution, but an exploratory thing)

[12:20:20] <altendky> Avaris: i mean, they sidestepped part of the issue but ended up with a solution that was better in this exact case. and even looking back at the docs i don't see how i should have reached this solution. but hey, azure is still the only CI i've dealt with that actually supports python across the three desktop platforms
[12:20:52] <altendky> right now i'm setting up a generic azure pipeline i can use to run pip-compile on across platforms.

[12:39:47] <Avaris> TIL: Stuff inside QStackedLayout don't calculate sizes until you show them
[12:40:43] <Avaris> combined with fitInView results in hilariously wrong outputs
